1. What PoliReads is

PoliReads is a reading-path recommendation service for political philosophy and theory. It curates book lists, topic introductions, and author summaries to help readers explore political thought across traditions. It does not sell books, financial products, or professional services of any kind.

2. Permitted use

You may use PoliReads for personal, non-commercial research and education. You may share links to any public page. You may not scrape, reproduce, or redistribute the site's editorial content (book summaries, reading paths, author copy) in bulk or for commercial purposes without prior written permission.

3. AI-generated content disclaimer

Some explanations, route summaries, and question answers on PoliReads are generated or assisted by AI language models. This content is provided for informational and educational purposes only. It is not professional advice -- not legal, political, academic, or any other kind. AI outputs can contain errors, omissions, or outdated information. Always verify important claims against primary sources.

The AI features are rate-limited and subject to a monthly usage cap. Access may be temporarily restricted during high-demand periods.

4. Intellectual property

The PoliReads editorial content -- reading-path logic, book annotations, topic introductions, and original copy -- is the intellectual property of Gonçalo Galvão Gomes. Book titles, author names, and quotations from works are the property of their respective rights holders and are used for commentary and educational purposes under applicable law.

Public-domain passages are reproduced for educational purposes. Copyrighted passages appear only as brief illustrative excerpts. If you believe a rights violation has occurred, contact hello@polireads.com and we will respond promptly.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Gonçalo Galvão Gomes shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to use PoliReads.

These Terms are governed by the law of the operator's country of residence within the European Union. If you are a consumer in the EU, this does not affect any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have under the law of your own country of residence.
